The Kraków Agenda for Europe's Life Sciences has just been published

The Kraków Agenda for Europe's Life Sciences has just been published. It is a report from the Polish EU presidency conference LifeSciences4EU which took place in May and was organised by Klaster LifeScience Kraków. NeuroCentury’s Paweł Świeboda served as rapporteur of the conference (link to the report: https://lifescience4eu.eu/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/LifeScience4EU_Conference-Report_2025.pdf).

The report argues for a new funding paradigm, bringing forward dedicated investment vehicles, tailored to the needs of life sciences, with public and private sectors co-investing together. In parallel, it stresses that a Single Market 2.0. approach is needed, particularly in the domain of clinical trials, with a fully-fledged streamlining and modernisation of existing framework to put emphasis on enabling innovation. The report also sees the scope for rethinking clinical trial execution with AI, and ways how trial data is captured, structured, and reused – at the source.

Together with the recently published strategy of the European Commission “Choose Europe for life sciences”, the Kraków Agenda contributes to the renewed momentum for life sciences, a key area for innovation, resilience, and long-term prosperity.
